The ELC-800r is designed to keep water level within 1/8 of an inch from where the sensor is mounted. Another important feature the ELC-800r offers is the additional option to sense a low water condition. A dual sensing unit can be installed with a relay in line of the pump power. This allows for the ELC-800r to shut the pump down when a low water condition occurs. Once the water reaches normal operating level, the controller can also be set to restart the pump.This function adds a high level of protection to costly equipment.
